While we were there we found a kitten that Christine and her husband, Bob, adopted. They named him "Rusty", yes I came up with that name also. I think of Ditchy often, I miss her so much. She has been gone for a year and a half now, I still can't believe she is gone, she was so young, only a year old when she died of kidney failure. We lost the youngest and oldest kitty in the space of one month.

This is the birthday necklace and earrings that I made for my birthday (pisces). Neal took me to a bead and gem show the day before my birthday, before a wonderful dinner of fish at the 'Bonefish' cafe here in Columbia. The food was pretty yummy, but the Brownie afterwards was amazing!!! We got LOTS of wonderful beads and pendants, so when we got home i went right to work making jewelry. We saw David Bromberg in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday night (January 18, 2009). It was a wonderful show and a great little getaway with Neal. We stayed at a spooky hotel, with no hot water and a bed that felt like a marshmallow, and leaned so much that we had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed. The carpet was scary, but I'm not even going to go there.

This is the Highland Inn in Atlanta, Georgia, where we stayed this weekend to see David Bromberg at the Variety Playhouse. The concert was wonderful!!! The first time I saw David was 34 years ago in a little place in Roslyn, New York called "My Father's Place". After seeing him that first time, I was hooked, and went many times there after to hear him. I saw him again about 20 years ago in an IMAC theatre in Huntington, Long Island. This was the first time I've seen him since then. It was wonderful to have Neal finally see David, who's music Neal has really come to love in the time we've been together. David played my favorite tune "Train", and Neal's favorite tune "Demon in Disguise", and Koff's favorite tune "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Me!! We actually got some of the photos in this session without my glasses on, that was very unusual for me. I feel very exposed without my glasses, I've been wearing them since third grade, so they are part of me. We put the fan on the floor facing up at my face to get the effect on my hair, I think that looks really cool.

It's December 20, and it's almost 70 degrees, much cooler than yesterday, which was almost 80 degrees. Everyone keeps telling me that there *IS* a winter here, but at this point I'm ready to believe they are all flat out lying. I looked at the Weather Bug this morning, it was 67 here, 37 in Maryland, and 24 (!!!!!!) on Lawn Guyland. EEEEP!!

Here I am!!!! Neal took this photo in the studio to check the lighting, but I liked it so I asked for a copy! I admit i did a little post processing on it, but not a lot. i removed some noise from the back ground, adjust the lighting a little, took an orange paint stain off my pants(go ahead, try to find it ) and i took fuzzies off my shirt.there are still a lot of fuzzies on my shirt...butt..ya know, we live in a cat house : PPP

she's mellowed out quite a bit over the years.
she use to pick on all the other cats, to the point of being evil. I had her on Valium for a while, but i knew it made her feel confused so I stopped giving it to her. Time made her a nicer cat.
