Band @ Rooftop Rhythms

There were two bands playing at the event, VERY loud. Plus a radio station was broadcasting right next to us. It was all pretty exciting!

Rooftop Rhythms

Here is the set up at the Rooftop Rhythms event. We practiced setting it up four times, so we were pretty fast!! John arrived at our house at one, and we were at the Rooftop by one forty five! But....we got there before anyone else and had no idea where to set up! we called the event and she drove to where we were and helped us pick out a nice spot. We have HEAVY electricity needs : ))

Orkie in a basket

Here is sweet Orkie, sitting pretty in a basket (with love puppy). This is another studio photo, the cats are always confused when we put them in the studio, they have no idea what this game is all about.

Chucky for Adoption

This is Chucky, he is up for adoption at the Cat Clinic http://www.thecatclinic.com He has a wonderful and playful personality.

My Kevin

This is my Kevin, by far the most handsome cat in the whole world. He is also way too smart for his own good, he's learned how to open doors. All doors need to be locked or he just opens them, worse than that, he's taught a few of the other kitties the art of door opening.

State Fair

There was all kinds of food at the fair. We found an Oriental food stand that was actually pretty yummy. Although, i must admit, I've never had french fried potato tempura before.

At The Fair

Neal and I went to the Caroline State Fair tonight where i got this wonderful photo of him. We took tons of pictures, hopefully some of them will be submitted for stock. As we were leaving, we stopped at the deep fried anything stand and got ourselves some deep fried chocolate chip cookie dough, a rare delicacy neither of us had ever had before. We joked about the grossness of deep fried 'stuff' before we ate it, but.........we are hooked, deep fried cookie dough is yummy.

Tar Tar on the rug

This is Tardy Peebucket. the MOST special kitty. Tardy is ten now, he was born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which affects his motor functions. Other than that, he is a perfectly normal kitty cat.

Borisanne

This has to be the best photo of Borisanne ever taken. It was taken in our studio, and even though she looks like she was posing pretty for the camera....she fought it every step of the way. I had to keep throwing her in the basket, till finally Neal was able to get a good shot. She sure looks pretty, doesn't she?

Ditch Kitten

this is Ditch Kitten. This is the day we found out she was dying. She was only a year old and her kidneys failed, she never grew any bigger than a 16 week old kitten. Ditch has a very special place in our hearts, she was a very unusual kitten. I loved her dearly, and miss her more than i can say.

Mr. BedBunny

This is Mr.BedBunny, he sleeps on our bed every day while we are busy being awake. This is one of the rare times that you'll see Mr. BedBunny without Orkie sound asleep on his back. He deserves a break from being Orkie's own personal cushion once in a while.

Peace and Love

This is the neatest bedspread, I've been hauling it around since 1990. It's so hippie dippie, suits my personality to a tee. I picked it up in a yard sale in Huntington, Long Island one summer day, fell in love with it right there.

River Scene

This is a photo from behind the Whitehaven Hotel, looking out towards the Wicomico River.

Gertrude

Gertrude's upstairs time. The kitties alternate coming upstairs, this is Gertie's time. Well actually, she has the most upstairs time, she's a little insistent. Kevin came up next, and Orkie was out of her room most of the day. Orkie gets along with everyone, especially if they clean her face.

Old Police Vehicle

Here is an old police car from the parade.I think this is the best picture I took all day. Really cool looking vehicle!!!

This is another view of our booth at the festival. We had a good time, and we came up with some great ideas for the next festival, which is at the end of the month. It's called Rooftop Rhythms, and it's held twice a year, this will be the second one I've attended. We are looking into doing more of these festivals, along with our other projects. With the next one coming up, we intend to have a double booth, side by side, making a portable studio. We intend to take the photographs and print them right on site. We have figured out that people at festivals want things right on the spot, so we'll give them that and also let them see our fantastic session packages.

Happy Cats

These are three happy cats. The kitties love lounging here at the french doors, watching the birds and squirrels that live in the yard. It's a wooded yard, so they have a nice view to keep them entertained. They look happy, and well fed. They are loved, that;s for sure!!
